유난히 무더웠던 여름이 갔는데도 우리는 비와 태풍으로 많은 상처를 입었습니다. 그 어려움 속에서도 열정을 쏟아 부었던 작품으로 전시회에 적극 참여해 주신 회원 여러분께 감사드리며 전시를 위해 바삐 일하신 운영위원과 실무진의 노고에도 감사드립니다. 그리고 멀리서 보다 좋은 작품으로 전시회에 참여해 주신 아키다 국제 미술가협회(AIAA) 회원 여러분과 매년 적극적인 협조로 임해 주시는 카마다 토시오 회장님께 감사말씀 드립니다.
서로간 날로 작품이 발전되어 보다 차원 높은 교류전이 이루어지기를 바래 봅니다. 작품은 각 개인 삶의 산물이며 참고 견디는 인고의 정신으로 알알이 맺어져서 승화되는 양식입니다. 참 시대를 앞서 가는 작품을 하기 위해서는 미래지향적인 면이 다분하며 많은 경험과 노력으로 이루어지리라 생각합니다. 지금은 미약하지만 앞으로의 비전을 바라보며 회원 상호간 친목과 소통으로 그룹 터가 더욱 발전되기를 기원합니다. 감사합니다.
Summer has ended, but the wind and torrential rain have wounded the earth. Thank you to all who have worked to build this year’s exhibition amidst this adversity-our members, for your passionate pieces, as well as the management and staff, for your tireless effort. Moreover, I would like to deeply thank the members of AIAA for your participation from afar with astounding works, and President Kasmda Toshio for his active help and support every year. With each exchange, may our artworks flourish and transpire into joint exhibitions of a higher level. Artwork is the product of an individual’s life, and it is the fruit that blossoms from one’s endurance and perseverance. To create art that stands ahead of the era requires a future-oriented mind, diverse experience, and much effort. I hope we strive to achieve this vision and grow along the journey as we communicate and deepen our friendship. Thank you.

카마다 토시오(아키타 국제 미술가 협회(AIAA) 회장)
일·한 교류사업은 2006년부터 2019년까지 14년간 지속하고 있습니다. 지금까지 큰 변화도 있었습니다. 2013년에는 일본측의 파트너가 AIAA(아키타 국제 미술가 협회)로 바뀌었습니다. 그리고 한국에서는 큰 어른이셨던 박종국 선생님과 임웅 선생님이 타계하셨습니다. 현재 저희들을 둘러싼 양국의 정치적, 사회적 환경은 너무나 어렵고 심각한 상황입니다.
이러한 상황 속에서도 저희들은 이 교류사업의 가치를 깊이 이해하고 강한 의지와 정열을 가지고 교류를 지속하고 있습니다. 저는 예술가의 자유와 독립정신, 그리고 상호의 신뢰와 우정이 있으면 현재의 고난을 극복할 수 있다고 믿습니다. 「터전2019」의 초대에 마음 깊이 감사드립니다. 지금 이곳 서울에서 여러분들과 같은 시공을 공유할 수 있어 저희들은 너무나 기쁩니다. “다 같이 손에 손잡고 전진합시다.” “지금이 그때입니다.”
Our Japan-Korea exchange project has been continuing for 14 years from 2006 to 2019. We had some big changes in this project… In 2013 the Japanese partner was changed to AIAA and on the Korean side, great leading members Mr. Park Jong Kook and Mr. Lim Woong passed away. These days political and social circumstances around us are very severe and getting more and more serious. In spite of such a situation, we have been running our project depending upon the deep understanding of its value with strong will and passion. I believe that we can overcome difficulties in these times with the artists' spirit of liberty and independence, mutual trust and friendship. I express my deepest thanks for your invitation to TER exhibition 2019 in Seoul. It is our great pleasure and honor to share the same time and space here now in Seoul. Let's go ahead together hand in hand! This is the time!
